The first time I heard it, I didn’t pay much attention to it, but after hearing the Miike Snow remix, I went back and gave it a few more listens and now I love it.
Miike Snow has created a unique sound without a doubt and I can’t decide what I like more their remixes or their original stuff.
The use of keyboards and synths are really doing it for me and I’m thinking 2010 just might be the year of Miike Snow.
Fun fact! One of their songs was featured on Jersey Shore, because really what music better suits a bunch of guidos fist pumping (and punching) than the cool Miike Snow 
!

N.E.R.D. featuring NELLY FURTADO – Hot N’ Fun (Boys Noize Remix)

Here comes a hypnotic rendition of N*E*R*D*’s latest single “Hot N’ Fun” featuring Nelly Furtado. After interpreting the band’s hit “Everybody Nose”, Boys Noize has reworked another record by the Virginia collective. Although the structure of the song has been retained the German electronica producer attaches some hard dance-influenced sounds to the original version. N.E.R.D’s new single, Hot N Fun” hit the internet, guns ablazing, loaded with a hypnotic bass line and a Nelly Furtado-laden hook. The song also came with news of a new album, Nothing, and an apparently tentative release date (it came and went without an album to be heard of).

MIIKE SNOW – Silvia (Robotberget Remix)

Swedish band Miike Snow was formed a couple of years ago in Stockholm and took the world by storm last year, becoming one of the most blogged about bands of 2009.
The band consists of American singer/songwriter Andrew Wyatt, and composers/producers Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg, also known as Bloodshy & Avant.
Their eponymous debut album was released in 2009 to much critical acclaim and the band has since been touring and sharing bills with acts such as Digitalism, The Ting Tings or MGMT.
